The main thing I dislike about the new car is the CF towers. I personally have sanding and sealing cf. And they still break and cost a ton to replace. I thought the composite front towers were fine. That being said, AE is offering a lot of car for $309.
Turf and carpet tracks almost require the carbon towers. Since the local track went carpet here, shock towers on everyone's cars were snapping. There's no give once you flip and catch a tower on the carpet.
It won't be long before we see carpet and turf designed cars shrinking towers down to TC onroad heights or cantilever setups.
