I only use the soft foam that comes with the Shimizu tires.
As for wheels I run the Tamiya Rover Mini wheels in the gray color. Chrome is okay too but might flake too easily if you're racing.
No the tires are 60mm. The rims are so bad that they are like eccentric lol not totally round. Straight crap. Only using tamiya wheels from now on
