Which bit of the U.K. are you in? If you're south/east of London, would Kent be a stretch? You could always see what that weenie crazybrit123 and his cohorts are up to.
Disclaimer: Andy, Iain, et al are actually very, very nice people and serious competitors who we're happy to have visit Alberta. It's just a shame they have to show up in December, during blizzards.
From what I can see from old posts their home club is Capel which is about 4 miles from me, I get down there when it is the school holidays. Also at West Kent which is my normal Sunday race club. So it is very likely I've met or at least seen them before
