Well... it can provide more power - to motors that need it. It will not shove more power down any motors' throat. Another way to put it: on lower powered motors there will be no difference. 120A was (or still is) the norm even for TC mod, etc. and should be more than enough for most applications. Oh and just the number of amps is not all that makes up a good ESC, keep that in mind, too.
