I would get rid of the hard tank and go with a fuel bag setup, zippkits.com would have you you need. It would be a closed system so if a boat flips you don't have to worry about water getting into the system. If you have a primmer bulb on your carb, you can take a little of fuel tubbing and blo
ck it off. To start just put your finger over the carb and pull a few small pulls till your finger is wet. Give it a good pull with your finger over the carb, it should try to fire remove your finger and it should start if the engine is in proper running order.
