Hi all thank you for the responses.

With the most recent ESC I have mounted it on the Kyosho mounting gel and yes the O-rings are in place under the plate. One of the local tracks I go to does have some hard flat landings but I did only break one of these cases. The other failures occurred on high by full throttle situations.

I will set up a photo account later so I can post pictures. I would say there's plenty of strain relief in the wires and nothing has come loose after running .
