It almost acts like boost is set to a very high RPM or it has a weird expo curve - but there is no expo and it is set to blinky.
I have reset the ESC to defaults, switched to a different radio profile, changed sensor wires and rand different motors. Gearing and timing change the severity of the lag but it never gets rid of it.
It is bad enough that even when starting on pole I can get passed by 3-4 cars before I get to turn 1 because it doesn't accelerate initially.
I am also running the capacitor bank on it. Is it possible I have an incorrect firmware in it? Any other thoughts?
I have 3 of those Orion's and don't have that problem. It does sound like it's boost related. Post your settings and firmware version .
