I'll I'm going to say about running a lot of motor is that the stock guys at most tracks run faster than mod. The best local drivers [where I am] can run a tenth or two faster fast lap but cannot do it consistently and still have better runs in stock than mod. These are all sponsored guys. If you're a really good driver you should be able to rail like a madman with a 13.5. I've only been on 1 track open enough to where you need more than that. A majority of the tracks that people seem to be on across the country do not have enough straights to necessitate a true mod motor. 6.5s and 8.5s should be left to the super experts and pros....in my opinion.
