Well at that big race there was about a 15 foot double after a hairpin turn, a 17.5t in a heavy truck wouldn't even come close to clearing that. So yes there are instances where more motor is needed. I was barely clearing it with a 7.5. In a light buggy I was clearing it maybe 30% of the time. It was just a tough layout!
