Hello! Currently in the Robotics class, we are building robots out of cardboard. Students design the robot on paper and then draw it up on Adobe Illustrator, then cut it out via laser engraver. We are using small 4 6v brushed motors to power our robots. 2 on each drive wheel, and 2 for AUX. We have Spektrum Dx6i's for the radio system and brushed speed controls to power the motors. We have came into an issue and we're looking for help. We want to drive the robot with only the left stick of the radio. We have 2 speed controls hooked up so far and we have them running as one on the left stick Y axis, and one on the right stick Y axis. We want to be able to run both of them at the same time on one channel, the left stick Y axis. We know we could use a Y harness to split the power and such, but we want to use the left stick X axis to turn. Push it left..The right motor moves..And visa versa, with the Y axis still acting as a forward function. How would we set up the radio system to do so, and, is it even possible? Thanks in advance. We are in desperate help!
