Its all about the amp rating. If the esc wants the amps will the lipo provide it.

For example a 5000 mAh (5.0 Ah) battery rated at 80C should be able to deliver 5.0 x 80 = 440 Amps

For example a 7200 mAh (7.2 Ah) battery rated at 80C should be able to deliver 7.2 x 80 = 576 Amps

Is 80c continuous or burst C rating? For the formula you need continuous.

If you esc does not require the amps the only benefit is longer run times.
