We tend to only use the V2 if the straight(s) are short and the track relies on accelleration - the V2 develops a lot more torque than the C2 / Reedy Quad.

4.9 thats low!

We have played around for awhile with these motors and found optimum gearing between 5.3 and 5.6.
Remember its a small dia com, more for mid and top end. But somehow the motor likes this gearing and pulls hard without over heating!
