and yes true the cost it's all relative, I'm just concerned that I'd build this car, race it once, and let it sit and collect dust because it's hard for me to consistently drive an hour to race at the track...
I'd be looking at how many M06's raced in the last few years TCS, they are a car that will require a lot of set up running to get to work well and unless there are a few other racers that you can get some insight from you could be on a long road ahead.

As for the cost of the build, you'll also need to factor in a good servo saver, dampers and springs and possibly a ball diff.
