i already built some cars of the pre seria with glass fibre chassis, they were absolutely ok. But talking with RC-fans there are not many that would accept a lower priced car if they have the chance to get a carbon one for a bit more.... In Italy some companies offer a kind of silver looking glass fibre chassis, but due to the loss of price difference it doesnt really make sense.
