Its not that hard to look if its black or red on the battery and correctly connect the lead.

Also, if you setup your wires and battery orientation so that it only reaches one way, its near impossible to connect it backwards.

This pussification of pretty much everything in the world and blaming other people for our mistake is getting out of hand.
