Hi, I published in my facebook page fb.com/BURIracerE1 an album with the weigths during the finishing steps.
I have to add a picture of the rollers weight with tires but without electronics

But you can re-calculate:
1830g (roller+motor+esc+battery) - 850g (roller only) = 980g for electronics
2250g (ready to run) - 980g (electronics) = 1270g

To use 3s might be a good idea, i completed some of the pre serial cars with simple Turnigy and Trackstar components as a 'junior cup' edition for our youngsters. A bit slower but still fast enough and a lot of fun for beginners
And some days ago I ordered a Tenshock SC-401 V2/5Y - 3400 RPM/V to test with a 120A SkyRc Toro SC120 esc and 3s battery. Because of the price this would be a very interesting combination. So the TS160 will be more powerful, but i dont have any experience with this esc.

Besides i just finished an extreme lightweight custom made BURI-Racer E1, the rollers weight is less than 750g!

Best regards, Tom
