Start again from the beginning. Rebind you TX & RX with steering & ESC disconnected. Then reconnect Steering and ESC and redo calibration. and go from there.
Sometimes when you disconnect the battery W/O a switch, ESC looses its memory of calibration(neutral, full throttle and Braking). Its your option to run a on/off switch
Doesn't the receiver need power to perform the binding operation, which typically comes from the ESC in an electric model?
