Carpet is CRC Fastrack, about 4 years old. It's giving us medium high grip: Lots of tire chirping. I have a VBC Lightning 10 and CRC LE/SE with WTF pod plates up and running. I typically will tune the car to be slightly agressive on turn in and fairly neutral on acceleration.
I started mine off with the same setup as my regular wgt4. Inline battery but that is with the new carpet. You might want to run the battery transverse vs inline. On the older carpet it should giver you more aggressive turn in because of the weight transfer.
