I did tried the hobby wing SCT setup as well but found it too heavy really. Plus with the longer motor found chassis balance L/R was an issue. I do prefer the 540 4.5 - 5.5t setup to be honest. Car feels more balanced and is better to drive. True to have to watch your gearing to avoid getting too hot but that really isn't an issue.
true true true. that is a major issue that igored to much. finally not that its winter im going to try and set it up correctly. a little annoyed that serpent is so expensive and its seems there arent many places to get replacement parts for my 747e. prolly shouldnt had hit that curb at 70mph
