Ran a 2016 today and OMG is all I can say. It was WAAAAYYYYY better than my D413. Even with the kit included hard parts on our low bite track it felt pretty good. The car is really easy to drive. I can't wait to get mine and get it ready for upcoming big races.
I made some changes to the car and it would blow your mind how much better it is now compared to when you drove it. This car is like cheating.
I went to 3 hole pistons, took the front top deck off, went to 2 dot front springs, gear diffs with 7k/3k, and moved shocks out on arms. It's like a slot car now. Car is amazing.
