What AE pistons do you guys use ? I tried the stock ones that come with the b5m (1.5mm,1.6mm and 1.7mm) and I do remark that they are not the same diameter as the xrays.
The xray's are 12.00mm spot on whereas the AE's are 11.80mm.
When I tried them two problem arose:
- The thickness wasn't the same I had to sand off the AE's to fit.
- And secondly I have found that the AE pistons had an awful lot of radial play hence why I measured them.
0.2mm on diameter is substantial, that's 3.73mm² difference ! A 1.6x2 hole piston give 4.02mm² in perspective !
