I recently purchased an electric 1/10 redcat blackout xte pro. I drive it on mostly loose dirt/rocks. I built an RC track in my pasture, so I do plan to do some friendly racing(nothing too serious).
As I am new to the hobby, I have some very beginner questions. My RC already goes plenty fast enough for me to handle but I was wondering what upgrades are necessary for my RC? Shocks? Servo? Wheels?
I'm not looking to dump hundreds into my RC as it is just a hobby. Any advice for me would be great. Thanks!
RC is just a "hobby" for me too, and I spend a couple thousand a year. I not sure you're going to get a lot of "upgrade" advice for a redcat. I would just run it as it is, considering you're just running around in a pasture. If the servo burns out, replace the servo. When the tires wear out, replace the tires.
