After a good six minute run the duratrax flash point was reading over 230f I dialled everything down and the temp came down a bit. I still thought something was up so I grabbed a temp gun from Canadian tire and shot them both at the bulb from my desk lamp. Duratrax read 280f and the mastercraft one read 178 - 180ish. Has anyone had this issue?
That temp on motor or ESC? Brushed or Brushless? What is your Gear Ratio, Pinion to Spur, It maybe spot on to you but overgeared. More info. Hi temps on brushless motor kills motor.
