We used to run ion's on the ozite, but it would eat the treads off the tires in about 2 nights worth of racing.
I would try primes... I think they would hook up well on the rear. you could try Panther slicks, but I don't think they will be near as good as the primes.
For the front, I used to run dboots blockpass... they worked very well. Any kind of stagger rib or "carpet hook" front tire seemed to work good.
