What is common for shock oil on carpet? The world's winning setup recommended 100wt, but at the Trackside TCS I felt like the car was a bit overdampened.
Also, how many run do you put on a set of tires before they go off?

i used some borrowed schuie 80wt, felt more like 50wt associated. im pretty sure that was with the 3 hole pistons also. If it is overdamped it will get skaty.
re tires, at club level i have seen them worn till the ribs were gone, i didnt notice a great deal of tire fade, for big events like a TCS nats i would only put around 3 runs on a set, new ones just feel better. On carpet around 2 runs were good for the rears, and fronts could have many runs on them.
