Thanks. However as mentioned I've sanded the bearing hole large enough without having excessive play but they still bind when assembled.

Instead of shimming the bottom of the gearbox that would affect the top deck, I decided to shim one side of the bottom of the motor mount instead to bring the angle of the shaft back slightly.
