Here's way too early, before coffee and a shave...

Blegh...

Ok, a little later when my fresh attitude, vim & vigor take charge..

NOW I'm ready for some high-capacity lunch hour wheelies! It's starting to get too cold after work and I need to finish sewing up a radio mitten.

I bought a bunch of conn's from the Far East for about 11 cents a PAIR. They work ok, but have needed light sanding or a ton of flux to flow. You can see the dross in the middle pic. I'm thinking it's not really gold plated...duh...

But they get the job done for all the different battery combo's I'm testing until I can decide on Ec5 or Sermos.

I actually used 3 pair of Deans per connection quite awhile back on a D cell horseshoe pack for an evil USA-1 experiment and that worked quite well. Everything got hot except for the conn's and lining the plugs up in a row in the lay of the wires to just touch them with a hot iron was easy cheesy.

That'd just be 35 cents a conn with these...hmmm...
