Heck, Jamie Booth turned the Tamiya Astute into a competative car, and if I remember correctly he even had Tamiya Madcap bits on it
I had a very competative year way back when I ran a Top Force, won a couple of major meetings
and it was very satisfying seeing the disbelief in people as they watched the mighty Tamiya race and win! I even managed to convince a couple of other guys to run them, and they also did very well.
