What brand front springs are you using? AE springs are notorious for collapsing quickly, especially if you wreck hard. I quit using them and went to CRC front springs, they seem to last a lot longer.
springs collapsing isn't a bad thing.
all you have to do is shim them up. once my springs finish settling i don't swap them. doesn't matter if the left has 0.2mm of shim, and right has 0.6mm of shim.
