Robbie definitely knows his stuff, so I am not saying he is wrong, but I had no problems running TQ 16g in my mod car with a boosted 3.5 at a few national level events in 2014. It could be that there was a problem, but I never saw it. I even went so far as to temp my motor wires! . However the minor bit of weight savings and the small increase in malleability probably doesn't matter in such an overpowered application.
