Definitely glad you went Ck trans. I received the redcat Everest trans today. The bolt patter is square unlike axial with offset. Split it in half so I could drill it out in axial patter (plenty of meat there in housing) and found all plastic gears and a pin holds the output shaft to the gear. Should be fine for what I'm using it for but definitely not axial tough.
