Yes they are! I learned the hard way. I pumped 7.4v into the rx of my last 8th monster truck. When I powered it up it made a mad dash on it own into a brick wall. When I caught up to it and opened it up it puffed smoke from the rx.sucked because it was a wp rx.so I wired the way I mentioned. I was using flysky rx and it was designed for a max of 6v.so I powered rx from esc and servo to bec.oh by looking at your pics I'm trying to describe photo one I do beleive.
