Running a softer center spring (Morotech Black or Yokomo X-Shock spring) will be tested at Yatabe.
I believe the Associated black side springs work well. However, I do have Yokomo Green and Purple which are softer than Associated Black to play with. To those who don't know Yokomo Green is not Associated Green.
I think tube lube and tire saucing (time and width) were the biggest culprits to my tire lifting.
Is your tire size difference really below 0.5mm? Doesn't the handling change during a run because rear tires usually tend to wear faster than fronts?
I use 1,8-2mm size difference with JFT flex wheels.
Before I used 1,5mm and it felt better turnin to corner but during a corner it wasn't so good as bigger difference.
What kind of dualrate are you running?
