Yes, the manual says you should bind and you will always can't go wrong by doing it.
Trust me on this, I have installed more MX-V than you I assume? All where binded from factory.
I have been in this hobby for many many years, don't try to explain you should bind your radio to receiver, because it's the normal way. HOWEVER, the MX-V comes factory binded. All of the MX-V sets I have installed.
And offcourse the manual says you should bind. To avoid any confusion or user error, they say it in the manual.
And yes, Sanwa/Airtronics M11/M11x/M12/M12s/MT-4/MT-4S/Exzes-X/Exzes-Z should be binded manually, but like I said before, quote: I personally think Sanwa factory binds the MX-V set because of the fact it's a budget radio set and maybe especially suitable for novice users. I think they want to sell it as much as plug and play as possible, maybe to avoid any warranty claims that are just beginners lack of experience and skills, failing to bind their radio set the proper way.
