Questions?? Motor efficiency and dynamometer

Hello,

I race a bit (I have a B44 and a RC18B), and I also like more technical stuff (I just finished my M.Sc. in mechanical engineering).

I was wondering is someone has worked with dynamometers before to measure motor efficiency, torque, etc... I have done some research, and there is not a lot of options available. Most threads are pretty old. The motor info would be pretty useful to select and optimize the motor and gear ratio for a specific race or frame.

I developed a dynamometer for brushless motors, and it was released recently (I won't post about the name here, so no self promotion). Most of our clients were businesses building quad, or research universities. I was wondering if the racing community would be interested by the tool too.

Thanks!
