It depends on what your car is doing, but generally, softer is easier to drive and gives more rear side bit. Too soft will lock in the rear of the car too much and slow you down, and too hard will let the rear slide, slowing you down. So, like anything in life, you need to run the car, and make changes to see what works best for your situation.

That spur gear uses 3/32 balls
