I know you have to find a way to get rid of the surface oxides before applying glue, and there are several glues for aluminum: Loctite E-30-CL, high temp CA glues, and others, but the Loctite seems to be the preferred method.... Even if the 3d works, you can still test the glue method.... Good luck.....
