Ideally you want to buy the wheels and foam separately. This allows you to run Yokomo wheels with any foam compound that is in doughnut form. I would suggest getting Team Bomber Silver foams for the front and rear.

Or save yourself the hassle and buy an IRS axle and then you can run BSR tires in the rear. Front requires no changes.
Why do you recommend the double pink or pink foam instead of any one of the newer varieties offered by Yokomo, JFT, or Ulti? For instance, the Ulti X foam or the JFT S compounds? Just curious as it seems weird to me that someone with access to some of the best foam being produced these days is recommending somewhat older compounds. Are the newer compounds not popular in Japan?
