AZWILDCAT is correct I tried going the cheaper kit route and while it was ok I found that I spent more money in spare parts due to no local support and more broken parts due to quality. I just recently purchased my t5m after getting a b5m and can tell you the kits are very nice builds. You can save money on the electronics, go with trackstar or hobbywing both are good and reasonably priced. but on the kit the best wat to save money is to buy the better kit up front. lastly while looking for mine I found that people wanted more than a new kit for a used built one due to perceived value in upgrade parts that I did not want and when it was just a used stock one it was only 20 to 40 dollars less than new, for that difference I rather buy and build.
