We just changed our track layout (carpet) and grip is low, but the HPI D-compound tires had lots of grip and traction when pulling out of the corners.
I was amazed with the acceleration out of the corners, especially with an FDR of 4.1.
Grip is still getting better every week we have a night to practice, lap times will only improve.

I live in Belgium (Europe) we don't have VTA classes over here, i guess i must be one of the few that is running this in europe (if not the only one)
Thought that VTA was running 21.5T motors, isn't there a sportsman and another class of VTA?
25.5T motors are not that easy to find here in Europe, ordering from the US will cost a lot of extra taxes.
I buy spider grip at tonisport, in Germany.
OOPS I didn't notice the location in your previous note. VTA used to be 21.5 turn motors (still have a few of those) but when USVTA took over the sanctioning it went to 25.5 motors and blinky ESCs..
