Yes Elias is running 13.5. Yesterday's lap times were only 1 -2 tenth off of Edgar's fast lap from last round. This isn't to bad for a light turnout practice day.
He is getting really fast.
Like I said we will try the blue/green and the Ulti combination next Saturday.
Still I'm not fully convinced that the tires are the cause of the problem, but I'll be happy to be wrong on this one.
Edgar was running Ulti's. On my 17.5 car Ulti's are .1 - .2 faster than
Blue/ Dbl Blue. Have not tried other combo's this summer. The Jaco's
are easier to drive and don't pick up the glaze that the Ulti's do, but
are not as fast. I was at TQ on Saturday with not many racers. Ulti's were the trick. Full sauce, front and rear for at least 15 min for both.
On race day's full sauce rear for at least 20 minutes, fronts 3/4 sauce for 10 minutes, re-sauce full for one minute and wipe is what I do. The fast guys
in 17.5 this summer have all been running Ulti's. Won't make the race
this Sunday. Hope Elias does well.
