Before outting the car on the track roll the car over a old piece of carpet, to take away all excess traction compound you couldn't get out with kitchen paper.
When you put your car on the track, drive through the dustiest part of the track, and make a donut or two. Roll on to the starting grid making hard left-right movements (similar to what F1 and Indycar's do before a restart)
