I think we all understand brand licensing. I think the point ASM was getting at was.....your comment seemed like a petty dig at competing company, and things like that don't always come across as being professional.
As for the new Ford GT....I think it is an amazing looking car. I hope that you can do it justice.....it really looks like a challenging body to reproduce. I really like the scale realism of the USGT class, and don't want to see it become a class full of blob bodies like other classes have become.

Speaking hypothetically, lets just imagine that Nike or Reebok decided to market a special edition "Scott Meeks" running shoe and started selling them all over the world. (without even contacting you) They even used
your picture on the packaging. Well....you'd probably be flattered for a while, but before long the full implications of their marketing plan would gradually filter into you grey matter. At that point you'd probably be screaming a lot of nasty expletives and hiring a lawyer who's known for playing hardball with cases like yours.
Now....back to reality for a moment. My rather pathetic example is to illustrate the exact thing that is happening within the RC world, all over Asia, Italy and I'm sad to say......Arizona. Quite simply it's called STEALING, plain and simple.

The law is the same for
everyone that owns a for-profit business. No exemptions for "nice guys" or businesses that have been around for "X" number of years. This type of thing goes well beyond only the legal realm. It breaks age-old and agreed-upon ethical and moral principals/laws as well.
