I finished the chassis for the time being, no detailed setups, just ran it with a 23 teeth pinion on a silver can. It's quick, the motor heat tells me I can go 25-26 teeth pinion no issue. (All my m-chassis run silver can and kit ESC)
I noticed that the ride height is high with the springs unless I use the droop screws to force it down. I'm not sure I like this approach, but will see how it goes. I need more rake. I may add spacers inside the shock body on the front.
For now, it drives quite well, slightly tracks to the right on throttle which I will tweak out later after I put the body on.
Out of the box, easily drives better than the M-Four as the rear of the Sabre is planted.
Still not quite at the level of my CupRacer's rotation, but I think with rake and some suspension tuning it will drive better than the CupRacer.
Next up, I need to figure out how to mount the Tamiya Rover Mini body..
