Maybe in your part of the world there are not many 4wds racing but in other parts they are very popular. Where I race they are far more popular than 2wds.
In my part of the world I think everybody loves their 4WD for the punch and amazing handling but few have the skills to keep them in one piece with the large triples and quads like what you'd see at the Reedy Race around here. Maybe people just have more skills in W.A., maybe it's the Little Creatures, maybe it's the budgie smugglers. I don't know.
But you did focus on the only observational part of my post when I was really hoping to get a discussion going with the question part of my post. Somebody mentioned that if the YZ-4 had the BD7 belt drive with a slipper they'd be extremely pleased. No doubt they've developed cars with both and went with belts just as TLR did.
Looking forward to learning more about the YZ-4 and hoping for a few more spy shots in the build up to Worlds.
