3 gear has more overall rear traction and much more rip out of the corners. You dont have to wait on kyosho for 3 gear ( you might be waiting for along time) there are steps on pettitrc on how to make one.
I thought I have heard that the 3 gear has less forward traction. But if it has more traction then great. I have the case mods done I just don't have the spacers yet.
I just recently picked up a used RB6 but I've had a RT6 and SC6 for a while. The short time that I have driven it I really like the feel of it. I basically have Zack Roger's setup on it with a few twists.
I just turned the battery sideways and I'm going to try it this weekend.
