As far as speed I have noticed no difference at all and if anything I seem to feel the ex1 has a more touchy response but that just might be me, the price and options with receivers is a nice bonus, I was concerned about size but that was a non issue as they fit better in all my cars so I'm happy with that all in all its ok but I'm a bit disappointed with the cheap feel of the radio in terms of build quality esp being a $650-$700 investment in my currency which isn't cheap but as far as feel in the hand and features I'm really happy, another issue I have is the screen seems to develop surface scratches too easily and I'll through just to install the wires are pressed against the backplate and the connectors feel like they're only...............

Yes i had the same feeling .coming from sanwa
Once instaled the dropdown it feels weak and wobely.
And it squeeks and kraks
But now when i use it for a while i forgot about it .
But we must see wat iit wil do in about 2 years use
