For those of you that have been waiting for SMC race packs to come in, I have found an alternative.

I ran the VANT 7600 hard wired (bought from Promatch) and they ran the same/better as the race packs from SMC. My powerlab 6 shows IR in the 1.2-1.4 for both packs after 4-5 cycles. Brand new they where 1.8 and after few cycles/runs they got even better. Battery's where luke warm after a 7 min main with outside temp at 95. Deans plug was a tad warmer, but nothing like the unsoldering bullets I had on the old SMC packs. (Not an issues with SMC packs, just issue with using bullets that are worn out)

Very impressed right now with these VANT batteries. Hope this helps others that have been waiting for a year it seems for SMC race packs.
