First and foremost, HW has a lower amp BEC and when bundled with a notoriously power hungry brand servo like Savox, you are asking for trouble. I've run the 7955TG's for a while, but recently have had them start failing one after another. That being said, they have over a years use, but it's a bit expensive and I've had three fail now in just a few months. It's almost like they have a running lifespan and I appear to be certainly hitting it.
I've trying a few new ones, including KO which seems FANTASTIC, as well as the Savox SB-2274SG. KO seems to be the way to go, but they are very expensive.
In the end, depends on what your budget and expectations are.
I'm just recently switching from Tekin to HobbyWing electronics. Prior to that, over the past year or so, I had begun running Savox servos, currently running the 2274 and 2273's in my buggys and truggy. This is after running expensive Futaba servos, also having disappointing life spans.
With about a month on the HW/Savox combo, I'm not seeing any problems. Servo performance does not look, nor feel all too different coming from the 7.4V BEC of Tekin to the 6.0V BEC of HW.
