The type S comes with rear toe in as it uses suspensions blocks that has 3 degree toe in on the rear. No alu uprights. The front trf suspension on the S also has positive caster on the c-hubs. They also have more shock position options and come with longer arms. You wont be able to fit the rear hub carrier of the R on the S though as they each use different suspension parts. I have the S. It comes with a motor. To run your R's included motor, just get the cheap tamiya 105bk or a hobbywing quickrun brushed esc.
