Parts like shock towers and a-arms are best left composite (plastic). Not only are big parts made of aluminum going to be really heavy, instead of breaking they bend. Your best bet is to slow down and crash as little as possible. The speed will come more quickly if you limit the time upside down.
Yeah, I wondered if bending and weight could be a problem. The local in-door track here has some pretty big jumps so I'm finding it hard to find a slow and easy pace there that flows well. I will try to heed your advice though, thanks!
